When architectural lighting utilising a DMX Lighting wall (designed by others) failed in the reception of prestigious London office development. SMA was recommended by CBRE as possible troubleshooters.

Although at first, this task was not that straightforward to resolve. We were able to quickly find the faulty item and source the component's exact replacement from Eastern Europe.

This ability to solve architectural lighting problems saved the cost of a new lighting control system and installation.

Our designers were also able to advise how to resolve poorly installed LED stair lighting. The stair lighting had been installed which was creating hot spot reflections onto a shiny marble floor. The LED should have been mounted in an aluminium extrusion fitted with a diffusing filter to spread the light evenly.

This was compounded further, as the LED's were not of the right Kelvin (colour temperature) to match the rest of the reception lighting.
