Architectural Lighting Design Business Park Lighting - Kenya

SMA design was delighted to be invited back to Nairobi, Kenya to guide on internal and external architectural lighting design. This was the second phase of an already established Business Park adjacent to Nairobi's race course.

This was by of recommendation from Kenya's largest architectural practice Triad Architects. We had worked with this architectural practise previously on the National Museums of Kenya project.

Architectural lighting design for the business park will include landscaping, water feature, existing buildings, interiors and exterior of new buildings.

The brief for this business park lighting project was to highlight existing architectural features. Whilst providing the new entrance with a visual presence and wow factor!

The architecture features of the buildings will be highlighted with a cool white LED light (4000K). This targeted cool white light provides the Business Parks new & existing buildings with an impression of freshness and a place to do business. At the same time as enhancing architectural features and brining cohesiveness to the variety of mix use buildings.

Retail and public areas will have a mix of wayfinding LED lighting and funky coloured LED lighting with up DMX controls. These measures will bring a vibrancy and good feel facto, making the new infrastructure of restaurants, bars and heath club a great place to work, rest and play in.

The lighting will be the icing on the cake of iconic architecture for the region. Transforming this Nairobi Business Park into the place to be seen at during Nairobi’s after work busy evening night life.
